Hello Farouk, can you introduce yourself?
Hi Trustfolio, I am Farouk Hemraj, Founder and Managing Director of ChannelHub. I have worked in the technology industry for over 30 years and in that time I’ve launched and sold two successful companies, and organised a series of business events all over the world. Technology and events are my passion. I live and work in Paris.
Can you introduce us to ChannelHub?
ChannelHub is an online platform for consumer technology vendors to engage and do business with potential e-tail, retail and distribution partners across the world. The concept is really simple but effective. ChannelHub’s matchmaking algorithm matches buyer and seller, based on their profile and business development requirements. It’s like a professional matchmaking platform for brands to develop their routes to market.
What services are you offering at ChannelHub?
The ChannelHub service is free to buyers and includes:
Product Match - We match buyers with brands and products that fit the buyer’s profile
Lead Generation - Our platform is adding new brands from across the globe every day so ChannelHub is a useful resource for buyers looking for their next best selling product
Product Samples - Buyers can save time and request product samples
VIP Contacts - ChannelHub ensures that our buyer members are put in touch with the right level of brand contact, saving a lot of time and hassle on both sides
Exclusive Events - ChannelHub organises a number of online and live events throughout the year. Our buyer members receive an exclusive invitation before the start of the launch campaign.

Who is in the ChannelHub team?
We have a great team of 25 people located in different countries (France, UK, Netherland, Belgium, Poland, Romania, Hungary, Russia, India) with a headquarter in Paris at the French Event Booster.
Who are your clients?
We work with a variety of consumer technology brands (startups and global players) covering product categories such as smart home, Mobile and PC accessories, gaming. Our audience members include retailers such as Carrefour, Euronics, FNAC-Darty. Distributors such as Ingram Micro, Also, Exertis etc.. and many new and emerging brands looking to grow internationally.
What is the ideal projet for you?
I created ChannelHub with one mission in mind: To help brands speed up their time to market. So a dream situation would be for our digital platform and events to help a brand grow its business exponentially and transform into an internationally recognised brand.
Do you ever turn down clients or projects?
Both our brand and buyer members must meet a certain set of criteria to qualify for ChannelHub membership so our assessment process helps us to avoid any potential conflicts.
Are there one or two projects you are particularly proud of?
Our biggest achievement in 2021 was our ability to adapt to a fast moving situation and deliver a series of digital events that delivered genuine ROI for our members. Unlike a lot of online events, our shows generated thousands of one on one meetings which generated a lot of new deals, connections and partnerships. We’re very proud of this achievement. The online shows also drew a global audience and kickstarted a few of our ambitions for 2022.
Do you have any news that you would like to communicate about?
We recently launched our first live event called the Channel Summit EMEA, 19-21 May, at the Fairmont Hotel in Monaco. We’re really excited to get people together again and to do business in person.
What are your ambitions for the future?
Bringing more value to our members is the number one priority.
Core activities include:
- Geographical: adding more regions such as North America, Latin America and Asia-Pacific
- More features on our platform such as even smarter matching algorithms, product rating system, sample ordering white label offers and quotation requests
