A great first experience, with interesting encounters and constructive discussions! It’s always worthwhile to talk to people from different backgrounds and discuss issues that, ultimately, we all share! The conversations flowed naturally and were warm and friendly – it’s lovely to be able to listen and be listened to :)!

I found the organisation to be very straightforward and smooth, the concept appealing and affordable – perfect for meeting new people and expanding my network. I’m naturally curious, very interested in people and love meeting new folk, so I think the format is brilliant. The all-female lunch was lovely, and the conversation flowed easily. I found the other three participants to be open-minded, attentive and kind in their approach, and I left feeling happy with the time we’d spent together. As for areas for improvement: for my part, the aim is still to expand my professional network and discuss professional topics. However, during this lunch we chatted a bit about the weather (how long we’ve lived in Marseille, whether we like it, etc.) and I got the feeling that as soon as I asked professional questions, the participants weren’t too keen to go down that route (e.g. they didn’t give the name of their company, current or former, and didn’t talk much about their jobs...). And in fact, we parted ways saying “well, that was nice, see you soon”, but so what? I took the initiative to send them a connection request on LinkedIn, but I don’t think they would have done so themselves. Furthermore, I would have liked to see more gender balance at the lunch and perhaps more professional synergies. So I’m a bit disappointed, but I’m not going to dwell on this experience and I’m going to give it another go! :-))

A relaxed, no-obligation training session to expand your network. Not necessarily focused on business at all costs. A good opportunity to exchange experiences and knowledge with people from different backgrounds and with unconventional career paths.

It was a really lovely experience; I met some interesting and friendly people. I had a brilliant time. I hope to stay in touch with some of the participants. I’m still a bit cautious about the career opportunities it might lead to, though. But I’d definitely do it again, as I felt useful and was able to offer advice to others on their entrepreneurial ventures. Good humour, a friendly atmosphere, laughter and sharing. It’s good to meet people who face the same difficulties, the same doubts and the same daily constraints. I also met someone who wanted to start their own business, and it was interesting to share my vision with them and to feel inspired by this aspect of mentoring.

I wanted to try something different to meet other professionals. It was a very relaxed, natural occasion, as if we already knew each other (in fact, I actually did know one of the guests). The two hours flew by – I highly recommend the experience!

A nice lunch – I would have liked to talk a bit more about work and a bit less about my personal life. A slight shift in balance, though, as it is still important to share your life, your aspirations and your family stories. It adds a human touch that fosters good connections and a sense of rapport. But definitely worth doing again – a great way to network. Good conversations. A relaxed and cheerful atmosphere. No awkward moments.

A really interesting way to meet new people. It’s a bit like professional speed dating over a good meal. A real-life version of LinkedIn. It’s always very rewarding to get to know people I would probably never have met otherwise. The conversations are warm, friendly and open. It’s also an excellent way to practise introducing yourself and honing your communication skills, especially for those who aren’t necessarily used to it.

It’s a friendly, laid-back atmosphere, and everyone comes with the same mindset: to take their mind off things and meet new people. To learn from others with a wide range of experiences.

I thought it was a nice idea – meeting people you don’t know beforehand and discovering a new restaurant. You’re ‘forced’ to talk to each other, so that really gets the conversation flowing. I would have preferred there to be at least four or five of us; with just three, I find it gets a bit limited if one or both of the other participants aren’t very compatible.

The atmosphere was really relaxed; we broke the ice within five minutes. A diverse and very interesting group of people. A lovely setting with a good, reasonably priced restaurant. Absolutely brilliant – I’d definitely do it again

It’s a nice size for a group of three to five people – for me, it’s ideal. You get to meet people you might never have met otherwise, and you’ve got time to chat. The downside is that you risk having conversations that go on in parallel because everyone’s too far apart, and then you end up missing out. Whether you hit it off or not isn’t really the main point; it’s better if you get on well and have a good time, but the idea is to meet new people, learn from them and be enriched by their experiences. A lovely first experience that I’d definitely do again. Simple interactions, a small group of three, and 100% female this time. Plus, discovering a lovely spot for lunch. Thank you!

I had a wonderful experience with complete strangers on that famous Friday 13 March 2026 (normally considered an unlucky day). Signing up is easy to access the booking dates, and I’ve noticed there’s a wide variety of profiles. What’s more, there’s no awkwardness or pressure to reveal your cards; things happen naturally and… you can make some lovely new friends :) I highly recommend it!

A brilliant lunch, no pressure to meet targets, great people, enriching conversations, and potential opportunities. I’d definitely do it again! It’s really lovely to chat with people you don’t know but with whom you actually have quite a lot in common. I’m an entrepreneur, so beyond the networking aspect, it’s genuinely enjoyable, useful and essential for my well-being to have access to this kind of experience.

I’m looking to meet professionals who can recommend me in a relaxed, no-strings-attached setting. Everyone is free to do as they please during the meeting; there are no obligations. The conversations are natural, friendly and warm. There’s a very pleasant atmosphere of mutual respect. Everyone arrived on time, which is much appreciated.

I attended my first KOZ lunch at Café Lisboa. There were six of us around the table. It was a particularly interesting experience, as everyone came from very different professional backgrounds. In response to the question posed at the start — “What makes you angry?” — I suggested a different approach: “Guess our profession at first glance”. This little game allowed everyone to introduce themselves naturally and quickly created a friendly atmosphere, conducive to conversation and discussion. I left with some new contacts and, above all, the feeling of having experienced a lunch that was truly different from my usual routine. I found this KOZ event to be both simple and enriching. The small-group format quickly creates a friendly atmosphere where conversation flows naturally.

A friendly, warm gathering of five people. Not at all “all business” – just lovely people who were genuinely pleased to get to know one another. I really liked the small group, and the fact that nobody started off with a sales pitch. It was friendly and warm. I didn’t make any particularly strong business contacts for my work, but that wasn’t why I came; I just wanted to meet new people in Marseille and it was perfect for that. And the restaurant was brilliant!

The group was perfect, especially as we all had similar backgrounds (former Parisians now living in Marseille). We hit it off straight away! We could have spent the whole afternoon chatting about this and that, but unfortunately our commitments cut the gathering short. The only thing worth noting is that only two people were in the same line of work. I was the only one who had absolutely no insight into their profession, but it was still very interesting! I’ll definitely be booking another session :)

I was looking for a less formal setting than after-work events to meet new people. I enjoyed meeting these people, but one of them monopolised the conversation, making it difficult to interact with the others.

The ideal format for meeting new people and discussing your professional life in an informal way, without that awkward moment at the start of networking events (how am I going to talk to whom, etc.). Communication is quite natural and the small group format is very pleasant! I loved the format: simple and fluid conversation. Breaking up your day with lunch with strangers is quite stimulating and, in this case, the useful is linked to the enjoyable, as we discuss our professional environments without it being purely commercial.

I enjoy meeting people and I usually arrange lunches with people I choose, for one reason or another. Then Koz comes along and it's a surprise, I arrive at lunch without knowing who I'm going to meet!!! And it's great: surprise, curiosity, novelty, really positive and enriching experiences!!! Good conversations, only positive encounters and, as always, the network sparks ideas to develop!!!

Very easy to use and perfect for networking! It makes it easy to expand your network by meeting inspiring and inspiring people. A wonderful group of friendly people from a variety of industries. Lots of humour! And for the record, there were three of us pesco-vegetarians 😀

Nice people, a good time. The food at the restaurant was pretty average. Good conversations, nice people. As for turning it into business, I’m not sure. I think it would be good to introduce potential prospects to our press relations team. A press officer meeting people who might need support would be more interesting than meeting four girls in communications.
