A really good choice of restaurant (friendly atmosphere, great food, lovely staff), a lovely lunch – with all the benefits that come from interacting with others. Lunch with strangers but in a familiar setting, with meaningful conversations; I left with new contacts and ideas.

A simple, friendly lunch with curious, interesting and engaged people. Definitely worth repeating! We had a relaxed chat in a cheerful atmosphere. I left with some information about the fields the guests work in and a few tips on the region!

To begin with, there were only three of us instead of four to six, which inevitably limited the potential. The networking was interesting, and the format – a relaxed lunch – was enjoyable. It makes for a change from the usual networking format. The only slight downside was the last-minute cancellation by one participant; otherwise, it was an interesting format.

It was a nice get-together, but there were only three tables – it would have been nice to rotate... It was fine, but the restaurant was too noisy, the music was too loud, and as I said, we need to find a way to rotate

It’s nice to chat over a meal; it’s always more enjoyable that way. Not much in the way of business opportunities, nor much value in the entrepreneurial discussions either – just a pleasant time. Great because there’s no pressure. Had a lovely time with some very friendly people. Not much business or entrepreneurial value.

A unique experience centred around a good lunch, offering the chance to meet people with similar professional backgrounds, yet from a diverse range of fields (in terms of age, industry, etc.). The common ground in their career paths helped to get the discussions off to a flying start.

It’s an experience that makes it easier to discuss things and make contact. The format is very reassuring. Very good. Lots of discussion and sharing. The only issue is the lack of structure: I would have liked to have had a Koz member there to remind us of the guidelines in real time, such as ensuring everyone had the same amount of speaking time. The context and the flow of the discussions meant that I didn’t get the chance to talk about my background. Some people spoke a lot and took on a leading role, sometimes steering the conversations. That’s also the risk of having such ‘informal’ get-togethers. I think it’s Koz’s role to remind people of this, even if it’s just for five minutes at the start of the meal.

A pleasant surprise: a group of digital professionals getting together to chat. I met some new people I’d never come across in the other networks I’m part of.

I’m not at all comfortable with networking events. I thought that meeting in a small group over lunch would be much more enjoyable and natural, and I wasn’t disappointed! I had a lovely time and met people from all sorts of different backgrounds. We found we had a lot in common and the conversation flowed really well.

On paper, it sounded really interesting. But in the end, I found the match wasn’t quite right – I ended up with three people living in Annecy, in France, who were looking for work in the French job market. The fourth person was split between France and Switzerland, but sitting around the table, it felt more like we were at a Koz Annecy event than a Koz Switzerland one. It was interesting, the people were nice, but there were five jobseekers around the table, so we were able to chat about our difficulties, the job market, our experiences and so on, but it didn’t give me as much as I’d have liked – that is, people I can really stay in touch with, with whom I might eventually build something professionally. I’m going to give it another go in a different Swiss town; the guests will certainly be very different.

It was a great and original experience, giving me the chance to present my project to freelancers outside my sector but who understand the challenges of entrepreneurship. Interesting – perhaps an opportunity for collaboration.

It was a unique and enjoyable experience, and above all, the fact that the participants were anonymous encouraged us to get to know each other better. The discussions were fruitful and natural, and every participant found it easy to express themselves

I stumbled across the LinkedIn post by chance, and I thought to myself, "Why not?!" I didn’t know what to expect. In the end, I had a really lovely time in good company. Thank you very much. The conversation flowed naturally. We chatted about both work and personal matters. No judgement. It was very pleasant.

I wanted to try out a new way of meeting people outside traditional business networks, and the match was a success for my first Kozeuse experience! It felt like stepping into another time and place: the six of us had some really engaging and interesting conversations, there was an instant sense of camaraderie, and everyone had fascinating backgrounds and a keen curiosity. It was a lovely, intimate gathering that flew by in the blink of an eye!

It was brilliant! We met some lovely people and didn’t just talk about work, but also about parenting, home renovations… It was a really good time! It felt very natural; everyone was really attentive, and we had a good laugh.

A chance to meet warm and friendly people from all walks of life, all with a keen interest in new technologies and social media. I discovered some excellent restaurants I hadn’t known about before, and met interesting people with professional interests that really resonated with me.

It was a good experience. I think it’s quite cool to go out for a bite to eat with people I don’t know and get to know them during the meal. The conversation was great. It was nice. But I didn’t really see any business value in it.

I quite liked the idea, but one person kind of hogged the limelight, which was a bit of a shame. But that’s just how it goes. Otherwise, it’s a nice concept, so I’ll be back :). There was a really good connection and some lovely interactions.

I was looking for an intimate setting, free from pretence, where people come before business – though we don’t forget about business either. Seated meals in small groups allow for genuine connections and are ideal for interesting and constructive discussions. After that, the commitment and magic of these encounters do the rest. The natural flow of conversation, the small group, the diversity of backgrounds and professions, the exchange of advice and tips – I really enjoyed it.

A lovely lunch with some very interesting people. I’m delighted to have got to know them over such a lovely meal. We had some great conversations with the other three people, which made the lunch a really enjoyable experience.

Fed up with overly formulaic networking events like BNI, I was pleasantly surprised by how straightforward this one was. But with four out of six people being IT or marketing professionals, that’s too many! It’s hard to make your mark when some people’s areas of expertise are so similar and they dominate the conversation.

KOZ Club. An after-work event just the way we like them in Lyon: a warm, friendly and inspiring experience. Natural encounters with a diverse range of open-minded and welcoming people, making for smooth and enjoyable conversations. Once you’ve got past that initial bit of getting used to it – which is perfectly normal – you’re quickly swept up in the atmosphere. A real breath of fresh air when you work alone, and an excellent way to reconnect with others over a lovely drink. A chance to discover new things, chat... It’s a chance to meet people different from those I usually encounter in my professional life – there’s such diversity...

The profiles are high-quality and a good match for mine; the people are kind, curious and respectful.

A relaxed, pressure-free setting for meeting people from all walks of life. I’ve been to two events and really enjoyed both of them. The drinks format lets you relax and strike up conversations more easily – because you forget about the ticking clock. A friendly group – warm and lively discussions. On the other hand, I didn’t like the bar – a bit tacky and soulless for my taste. We would have been better off on the rooftop... but it was booked for another event. What a shame!

What I liked: A small group, the chance to really chat, and even if you don’t find a match, you can still have a good time. I really enjoyed myself and might have found one match. That’s better than nothing.

This is the second KOZ event I’ve attended, following a lunch event where time was more limited. The after-work setting is more relaxed, and I felt a greater connection with the people I met. The selection of people at the table was well thought out, with participants from related or complementary sectors. I really enjoyed the atmosphere, and this time I fully intend to stay in touch with everyone after the event. A cosy venue that creates an intimate atmosphere, well-thought-out matching of profiles across related, complementary or even similar sectors, and plenty of opportunity to share experiences. We don’t just talk business but also about our lives, and that’s what makes the event more enjoyable – less focused on what we can give or offer others.

The novelty of the "surprise" table and the more relaxed atmosphere compared to other networks, even though some participants want to know straight away what the others do. I was grilled almost immediately about what I do for a living, which made me feel a bit awkward (I said so politely :)

A lovely lunch – the time flew by with some really nice chats that went beyond just work. A brilliant time – let’s do it again!
