Everyone around the table played along, which led to some interesting discussions without any overtly professional tone. It was a pleasant experience. The exchanges were positive and friendly.

It was a fascinating series of meetings; I really enjoyed the discussions and the opportunity to listen to others. Everyone had a chance to talk about their career paths and future goals, which was a rewarding experience on a personal level. Being able to chat with people from different backgrounds was particularly interesting. What stood out most for me was the human touch and the genuine interest everyone showed in one another.

The desire to combine business with pleasure – a good lunch with entrepreneurs to chat, share ideas and, why not, do some business… KOZ Club is a bit of all that, but even better… They organise everything; you just need to turn up at the restaurant on the day and you’ll have a table, surrounded by entrepreneurs who are there for the same reasons! A small table for four carefully chosen people. No one was there to sell anything; it was simply the pleasure of meeting one another and a genuine curiosity about each other. A carefully chosen group of people who had stories to share. I felt inspired; I was curious to find out more about each of them and I learnt a lot.

A nice, informal lunch – I’m not expecting anything specific, but it gives me a chance to talk about what I do (and polish my pitch). We had a good chat; no particular ideas this time, but I’d really like to make a monthly KOZ lunch a regular part of my routine.

The 'mystery lunch' format intrigued me, so I signed up out of curiosity, as I’m not really comfortable with ‘networking’. The idea is simple, but it works really well! I had a really friendly and relaxed time; we chatted a bit about work but mostly about lots of other things, and we had a good laugh! And that’s brilliant! A special mention to Les Babines de Mars – it was brilliant!

The Koz Club is great. There’s no pressure; people don’t seem stressed about having to put on a show or give a presentation. It’s friendly, and whatever comes out of it just flows naturally, so it’s a total win in a relaxed atmosphere. As always, it was really cool and very natural. We spent less time going round the table and chatted more about life than strictly about business.

I wanted a change from those after-work events where 60 of us end up crammed into a room and you only end up chatting to five people all evening! I fancied something simpler and more intimate! It was very well received and, above all, I felt at ease very quickly – a truly wonderful experience that I’ll definitely be repeating!

I was looking to meet people to expand my network for professional or personal reasons. It was a great fit with the people there – they were really attentive, we had things in common, and there might even be some synergy. In any case, it was a lovely time! I had a very enriching lunch with three very different people. All four of us work in so-called creative fields, and we found ourselves spontaneously discussing things that were important to us professionally. What’s more, it was an intercultural lunch – within Europe, admittedly, but one where we juggled between languages. In short, it was an exchange that was rich both intellectually and personally, the full nuances of which I haven’t yet fully taken in. And I’m just as keen to see them again as I am to repeat the experience with new people. This free-flowing discussion in two languages amongst creative and kind-hearted people gave me a great deal of energy and provided me with some potential answers to professional questions.

A unique experience centred around a good lunch, offering the chance to meet people with similar professional backgrounds, yet from a diverse range of fields (in terms of age, industry, etc.). The common ground in their career paths helped to get the discussions off to a flying start.

It’s an experience that makes it easier to discuss things and make contact. The format is very reassuring. Very good. Lots of discussion and sharing. The only issue is the lack of structure: I would have liked to have had a Koz member there to remind us of the guidelines in real time, such as ensuring everyone had the same amount of speaking time. The context and the flow of the discussions meant that I didn’t get the chance to talk about my background. Some people spoke a lot and took on a leading role, sometimes steering the conversations. That’s also the risk of having such ‘informal’ get-togethers. I think it’s Koz’s role to remind people of this, even if it’s just for five minutes at the start of the meal.

I’m not at all comfortable with networking events. I thought that meeting in a small group over lunch would be much more enjoyable and natural, and I wasn’t disappointed! I had a lovely time and met people from all sorts of different backgrounds. We found we had a lot in common and the conversation flowed really well.
