I had a very enriching lunch with three very different people. All four of us work in so-called creative fields, and we found ourselves spontaneously discussing things that were important to us professionally. What’s more, it was an intercultural lunch – within Europe, admittedly, but one where we juggled between languages. In short, it was an exchange that was rich both intellectually and personally, the full nuances of which I haven’t yet fully taken in. And I’m just as keen to see them again as I am to repeat the experience with new people. This free-flowing discussion in two languages amongst creative and kind-hearted people gave me a great deal of energy and provided me with some potential answers to professional questions.
